Professional Development
Teaching was never part of my professional plan. But now with over 20 years of experience teaching graduate students at local universities, it is one of the greatest joys in my professional life.
In an environment that is supportive & challenging
I invite exploration of theory, nervous system regulation, and clinical practices. I aim to incorporate an antiracist, anti-oppressive lens, and to understand how our own social identities impact our use of self in practice. Whether you’re interested in supervision, consultation, workshops, or personal therapy I offer an opportunity for deep reflection and growth.
“Positive energy, astute skills and compassion are at the heart of Lisa Race as a professional. In addition, her experiences as a clinician, teacher, and social justice activist add even more value to her workshops. Lisa integrates such unique ways of sharing that address different learning styles as she incorporates relevant stories, humor, and activities while also engaging participants strengths and experiences. You will leave her workshops knowing more, feeling so inspired, and wanting to attend another one!”
