This webinar will focus on how we increase our therapeutic impact by intentionally bringing our authentic selves to this work. Specifically we will explore:

  • Useful guidelines for the responsive use of self-disclosure,

  • Strategies for building an authentic and trustworthy therapeutic alliance

  • Using Polyvagal theory as a framework for understanding the power of co regulation

  • Ways to enhance attention to the relational and emotional dynamics in the room. 

  • Mindfulness practices to enhance being present
